Navy diver drowns and meets light beings on the other side
David is thrown into the water after the boat he was on was hit by a huge wave and folded in half
he was in complete darkness and unable to tell up from down
oxygen deprivation starts to occur, feels a euphoria overwhelm his senses which causes him to breathe and drown
after drowning he finds himself in a silent absolute darkness despite having just been in a loud roiling ocean
it’s quiet and peaceful and he isn’t being tumbled or tossed anymore, he also isn’t cold anymore
there’s a pervasive feeling that he’s not alone, that there’s something greater there with him
he’s curious what this is and sees a tiny little pinprick of light which draws his attention
as he looks at it, he notices that either he’s getting closer to it, or it’s getting closer to him
as he got closer, he notices it was like millions upon millions of fragments of light interacting with each other as if they had one mind and were infinite
at this point he begins wondering who he was and what he was
when he looks down, he notices his body becoming one of these fragments of light
starts feeling waves of love, like he was getting wrapped in a warm blanket of love
describes it as unconditional unlike our love which is highly conditional, feels like it’s the core element which everything is made up of
as he got closer to it three fragments from it broke away and were welcoming him home
he recognizes them as family, a greater family which was always with him
they communicated to him that they were going deeper into the light
they went into an area that to him felt spherical, when they went inside it, he began reliving and reexperiencing his life, got to see it from his perspective and the perspective of everyone he had ever interacted with
got to feel how all his actions affected people, noticed his soul family was experiencing it with him
was ashamed that they had to experience some of his brash moments due to the personality he had developed over his lifetime, but his soul family were loving him and supporting him through the entire review
everything in the life review was crystal clear, and it was both awe inspiring and humbling to him
eventually it reached the point of his life where he died but it kept going, he didn’t realize it at the time, but he was looking into his own future
he saw a corridor/path ahead of him and in the periphery, there were a lot of alternate pathways that could go other ways
the enormous infinite light spoke in unison and told him it wasn’t his time, he must return
he refuses and has no desire to go back to his body, the voice responds to him saying “you must return, you have a purpose”, the word purpose resonates through his being
he accepts it and finds himself outside his body, the original 3 light beings who greeted him were with him observing the body as it was being tumbled and tossed
his body came close to the wreckage of the boat and got wrapped up with it
wonders in his soul how the enormity of who he was would fit in his body
another wave hit the boat and causes the boat to get pulled up which dislocates his arm but pulls his body up to the surface
more waves hit and pound his body which pushes the saltwater out of his lungs, his soul family gives him a gentle push which pushes him into his body
physical body feels heavy and constricted, is unable to talk but his buddies who he was in the ocean with find him and rescue him
describes the other side as hyper-real which is what makes it feel like home
